Best ritualist armor type?
Alright, I am about to buy some new armor for my ritualist (either 15k kurzick or normal kurzick), and before I drop a ton of money on it, I would like to know if there is a generally accepted "best" armor type for the ritualist? I know that some armor types might be better for certain ritualists (ie. the +armor based on the number of spirits you control), but I am looking for a good general use ritualist armor. I am thinking the Halycon's (+energy), but does anyone have any other suggestions or things I sohuld know? Thanks in advance.

IF you plan to be carrying ashes or items a lot then the extra energy armour will best suit you since you lose the energy bonuses from your weapon sets which in the end probably helps more than the extra 10 armour while holding items from the oracle set.
If you can keep spirits up the extra armour per spirit is a nice bonus. The extra health set (+35 total) wont go far in terms of direct damage but will help with degen. +15 armour with a weapon spell on you sounds good but weapon spells don't really last long enough imo. The extra armour during skill use is pretty forgettable considering the large amounts of skill downtime (except ritual lord builds). Unlike other professions the ritualist armour choice is a tough call, really got to ask yourself what will help you more from your style of play. |
